The hotel was built in 1810 and was frequented by European royalty. It was home to several of the great Irish statesman including Charles Parnell. In the literary world James Joyce recounts his stay in the Victoria in his novel "Portrait Of An Artist".

The hotel has been recently restored and offers full en-suite bedrooms, bath with shower, telephone, TV and hair dryer.

You can eat in the restaurant or relax in the Vic bar with your favourite drink or cocktail.

Things to do: Being in Cork city there are all the normal cultural facilities on the doorstep, the sea is only 12 miles with fishing and a wide variety of water-sports available. There are Golf courses are nearby and one can also go river angling.
