Description: Set in 6 acres with lovely gardens around the house, and within walking distance of the lake, the farmhouse provides a homely retreat with the highest level of comfort. It has been lovingly restored maintaining its original charm and character. There are two open fireplaces and it is equipped with central heating, tasteful furniture and many beautiful original paintings. The kitchen has built-in units in old pine, an old dresser, and a comfortable armchair beside the fireplace. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one double with en suite facilities, the other has 2 single beds.

Further details: There is a small grocery shop and a number of lovely country house-restaurants on the lake shore. Caragh Lake is at the foot of the mountains of Macgillicuddy Reeks and is only 10 minutes from Rossbeigh Beach - one of the most beautiful lakes in County Kerry. the area is peaceful and unspoilt, with Mediterranean vegetation due to the Gulf stream giving a very mild climate all year round. The area boasts breathtaking scenery, first class facilities for walking, climbing, riding, fishing, swimming, and for the golf enthusiast Caragh Lake is a dream. A variety of quality restaurants and traditional pubs with music are within easy reach.
