Kenmare River Holiday Cottages are situated overlooking the lovely Kenmare Bay at Tuosist - on the Beara Peninsula 18 Km south of Kenmare. In the distance is the backdrop of the lofty MacGillicuddy Reeks and the Caha Mountains. These comfortable and well equipped cottages offer spectacular views of the Kenmare River, Lehid Harbour and the surrounding countryside. The cottages are well spaced over 22 acres thus ensuring lots of open space and privacy.

The cottages are divided into two groups:

Group A: There are 5 modern detached three bedroomed 3*** cottages. Each sleeps 6 in one double and two twin bedded rooms. All the bedrooms are carpeted and fitted with wash hand basins. There is an open-plan L-shaped living room with open fireplace with hearth and a dining area. The French windows lead you outside onto the patio with garden furniture. The fully fitted kitchen has a washing machine, tumble-dryer, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The cottages have quarry tiled floors with throw rugs throughout. There is electric and storage heating and all the cottages are equipped with double-glazed PVC Windows.

One cottage is wheelchair accessible

Group B: 3 bungalow style detached four bedroomed 4**** cottages - sleeping 8 in two double bedrooms and two twin bedded rooms. All the bedrooms are on the ground floor with wash hand basins and there are 2 fully equipped bath/shower rooms. In the open plan living room / dining area is an open fireplace with hearth. The very complete fitted kitchen has a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble-dryer among it's equipment. The houses are fully carpeted and heated by oil fired central heating with supplementary electrical radiators. Outside there is a patio with garden furniture.

Additionally:

• A one bedroom semi-detached, 3*** first floor appartment with it's own private entrance, Patio and parking. The appartment sleeps 2 people in one double bedroom There is a shower room, an open plan living room with dining area/kitchenette. There is an electric fire and it is equipped with washing machine and tumble-dryer. Heating is Electric.
• The fully restored 3*** Olde World cottage is semi-detached and has it's own private entrance, parking area and private patio. On the ground floor is an open plan living room /dining area / kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer and washing machine - dryer. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms - 1 double and one with bunk beds (ideal for children). There is a shower room / WC.

The appartment adjoins the Olde World cottage, both face south and overlook the Kenmare River. They are 50 metres from the waterfront and situated in the midst of the Group A cottages.

All cottages are complete with sufficient cutlery, crockery, iron & ironing board, electric kettle, electric toaster, coffee maker and bed linen

Among the facilities provided on site and in the harbour are:
Tennis Court, Childrens' Play Area, Outdoor Barbecue with Coal & Briquettes and a Laundrette. There is direct access to the waterfront, boat moorings and docks. The waterfront is ideal for: Swimming, Boating, Angling, Board Surfing and Sailing.
