New Bridge House. The house is located in a scenic location overlooking Bantry bay. Situated on a private road just 200m from the main Bantry , Glengarriff, Killarney road. It is ideally situated to visit the ring of Kerry, Killarney, The Ring of Beara, Gougane Barra and Garnish Island. Open all the year round

It is a modern 4 Bedroom Bungalow which can sleep up to 8 people. There is a Sitting room which has an open fire and TV. The Dining room has an open fire and seating for 8 people. In the fully equipped Kitchen there is an Electric Cooker, Washing machine, Dish washer and Microwave. In addition to a large bathroom with Bath and shower there is hot and cold water in all the bedrooms. The house is centrally heated (Oil Fired)and also has an immersion Water heater. All services are on meters

Local Attractions: Bantry is one of the principal towns on the South West Coast, set in beautiful surroundings with magnificent views of Bantry Bay.

  • Bantry Bay is one of the deepest natural harbours in the world. In the summertime there are boat trips from the pier which give a tour of the bay and the local mussel rafts. Yachting trips and board sailing are also available.
  • Bantry House Well worth a visit. Famous for it's historical interest and works of art. It is idyllically located overlooking the bay and is set in lovely grounds with well manicured gardens.
  • Garnish Island. Located in the nearby Glengarriff Harbour , the island is renowned for the richness and diversity of its' flora and is a must for anyone interested in trees and shrubs
  • Arts and Crafts. There are a number of outlets in the area including craft shops, galleries and museums.
  • Golf. There are two local nine hole courses which welcome visitors at Bantry and Glengarriff.
  • Fishing. Deep sea, lake and river fishing are available in the surrounding area.
  • Festivals. The Bantry Mussel festival and the Bantry regatta
