Cooper's Cottage is a 19th century 3 bedroom house standing in it's own grounds with panoramic views of the Galtee mountains. One of the bedrooms is en-suite, and the house can sleep up to 6 people in four star comfort. It was the home of a barrel-maker who worked from there at the turn of the century, hence it's name. The house has been lovingly restored to a very high standard by the Long family, and offers polished wood floors, timbered ceilings and a wood-burning stove in the substantial sitting / dining room. (views of sitting room and bedroom 14kb) It has been furnished throughout with antique pine furniture and is beautifully decorated. there is a fully equipped Kitchen with an electric cooker, Dishwasher, Fridge, Freezer and Microwave oven. In the laundry room adjoining you'll find a Washing machine and dryer. In the main bathroom there is a bath and electric shower, wash basin and WC. The house is centrally heated (electric). Electricity is on a meter.

Local Attractions: The house enjoys lovely views to the hills, the town of Bansha is only two miles distant. The castle at Cahir, notable for not being a ruin (!) and for being the backdrop for scenes in the films Barry Lindon, Braveheart and Excalibur, and the rock of Cashel, place of the crowning of the legendary Brian Boru after he defeated the Vikings in A.D.977 are easy to visit by car.
Angling, Horse-riding Hill-walking and Golf are all within a 15 minute drive.
