Vale View is a tastefully restored farmhouse resting in the beautiful Slaney Valley at the foot of the Blackstairs Mountains (Mount Leinster), just 3 km from picturesque Bunclody.

Located on the Wexford, Carlow, Wicklow border it provides an ideal touring base for the surrounding counties and nearby Kilkenny. Vale View is in the centre of the small farm. The land slopes down to the River Slaney and is surrounded by mature oak woods. There are panoramic views of the surrounding countryside over the Slaney Valley and the Blackstairs Mountain Range.

The accommodation : Detached 3 bedroomed farmhouse, which sleep up to 5 people,. There is a spacious sitting room with an open fireplace and a colour television.. Central heating throughout. .Large fully-fitted kitchen, with its own laundry facilities and microwave oven.

Children are welcome and baby cot can be provided. A baby sitting service is available.

THINGS TO DO::Swimming. Golden, sandy beaches within 30 minuted drive and a heated outdoor pool at Bunclody. River fishing for trout and salmon. Horse riding. Hang-gliding. Four golf courses within 14 miles. Beautiful walks.

PLACES TO VISIT: Huntington Castle, Clonegal Ferns Castle. Abbey Altamont Gardens. Tombrick Church (the smallest in Ireland.) Mount Leinster, Enniscorthy Castle, St Aiden's Cathedral , Vinegar Hill, Johnstown Castle, the JF Kennedy Park and, of course, the many pubs and restaurants in the area.
